cheltenham music scene

Welcome to CMS, something that i hope can be a meeting point and great help to the musicians of Cheltenham and its surrounding areas. This board is aimed primarily at guitar based bands who are active on the local scene.

My long term goal for CMS is that it will become the central point of a music community both online and off which allows the music scene in Cheltenham to flourish and grow. On here members can get to know each other and each others music, find band members and plug gigs.

This is very early days and i hope that eventually i will find help from some more techy people to help dress the forum up and perhaps even expand into a website, chat room and so on. Ultimately i would like to arrange CMS gig nights and build up from these humble beginnings. If you think you can help or offer useful suggestions please feel free to email me or leave a message on this thread.

For a start the best way to help is to spread the word and start posting and encourage others to do the same, the more people know about and use the site the more effective it will become.
